Energy Work vs. True Processed Release

The Common Misconception

Many people view energy work as a quick "spiritual vacuum cleaner." When they feel off, heavy, or surrounded by negative energy, they seek out an energetic session (like Reiki, sound baths, or cord-cutting) expecting a clean slate. However, they failed to recognize that approaching energy work this way is another form of spiritual bypassing not actual healing.

The Hidden Trap: The "Vacuum" Effect

While an energetic session will clear what is currently showing up for you in the present moment, it only scratches the surface if the internal landscape remains unchanged.

Because energy work deals with deep external and internal layers, doing a session without prior mental and emotional processing creates a temporary vacuum. The moment you step back into your daily life, that newly cleared space has an empty capacity. If the root cause hasn't been dealt with, the space will simply absorb the unprocessed energy and information still lingering in your subconscious or your environment. You find yourself trapped in a cycle of constantly needing to "clear" the air around you and the space in you.

The Kitchen Metaphor: The Windows and the Fan

To understand how the body and mind handle this, think of your energy like a kitchen after cooking a heavy meal:

  • The Scent: The entire room smells intensely like food. The air is thick and heavy. The more you cook, the more scent gets added, and the thicker the air in the kitchen is. Your kitchen ends up always heavy in a collection of scent attracting bugs and molds, etc.

  • The Body (The Window with No Fan): If you just open a window, air exchange happens naturally, but it happens at a very slow, passive rate. The smell lingers for a long time. This is your body trying to passively let energy drift away on its own.

  • Processing Information (The Window WITH the Fan): When you actively do the in-depth feeling work, it is like turning on a high-powered exhaust fan. The fan actively processes the air, forcing the heavy smell out and pulling fresh air in. It speeds up the clearance of unnecessary information and brings lingering doubts to the surface so they can be dealt with quickly.

When you actively process your emotions and the information around you first, you are running the fan. By the time you show up to an energy work session, the bulk of the heavy smoke is already gone. The energy session is simply wiping down the counters and clearing away the final, lingering residue.

The True Method: Processing as the First Form of Release

True, lasting release requires a two-step harmony between Processing and Energy Work.

  • Phase 1: In-Depth Feeling Work (The Fan)

Processing the information, emotions, and thoughts around your situation before your session is the actual root-cause energetic release. By actively engaging with the energy, you force it out of the system before it has the opportunity to occupy any space you will have empty later during your energy work session.

  • Phase 2: The Energetic Session (The Final Wipe Down)

Stepping into the energetic space after the emotional heavy lifting is done helps clear the remaining lingering and stuck debris left behind by the breakthrough.

The Danger of the Empty Void: The Re-Absorption Trap

Here is what you must understand if you skip the active processing phase:

  1. When you go into an energy session without processing the information or energy on you first, the session will still open up space. It will temporarily lift the surface-level heaviness and any deeply trapped energies in your system. But because you haven't rooted out the source of that negativity through active processing or haven't yet processed any of the new energy bothering you, you have just created an unprotected, empty void.

  2. Energy abhors a vacuum. The literal moment you step out of that healing room or finish that session, whatever unprocessed junk, lingering doubts, or negative environmental triggers are still floating around you will get instantly sucked into the empty space you just created. You aren't actually healed; you've just emptied the container, left the lid off, and walked back into a dust storm.

The Digestion Analogy: Making Room for the Next Meal

Think of it like eating a massive, heavy meal. Your stomach is bloated, incredibly tight, and completely full.

If you want to enjoy a new, delicious meal, or enjoy dessert you cannot just keep forcing food down your throat. There is literally no physical room for it. In order to make space for more food, you have to allow time for your stomach to process the food currently in your body, and your body has to eliminate what is already inside. You have to go to the bathroom.

Your energetic system operates the exact same way:

  • The Backlog: If you just keep absorbing information, stress, and emotions without digesting them, your energetic system becomes "bloated" and backed up.

  • The Processing (Going to the Bathroom): Actively feeling and processing your emotions is how your system eliminates the old, heavy waste without having to do in depth energy work which can manifest in illness-like side effects depending on how much energy is backed up in your system.

  • The Energy Work (The Next Meal): If you try to jump straight to an energy session to receive positive, aligned, and elevated vibes while you are still emotionally constipated, your system simply cannot hold it. You have to empty the system first off all unprocessed information so you actually have the internal capacity to welcome and digest the good stuff.

The Energy Diet: Input Determines Your Output

To take this a step further, think about your biological chemistry. The natural scent of your body is entirely determined by what you put inside it. If you eat a clean, unrefined diet, your system processes it smoothly, and your natural essence remains light. If you constantly consume heavy, processed junk food and heavily pungent spices, your body chemistry changes—and everything that exits your pores, your breath, and your system will carry that heavy, unpleasant odor.

Think about it. When you are in public, even if you have perfume on you, the moment you step into a space that reeks horrible smell, even after leaving the space you bring that smell with you. The smell follows you everywhere you go until you clean yourself, be it a shower, change of clothes, or etc.

Your energetic aura functions exactly like your physical body chemistry:

  • The Input: The toxic media you consume, the drama you engage with, the gossip you listen to, and the unaddressed fears you suppress are the "junk food" of your mind.

  • The Aura: You cannot consume a toxic mental diet and expect to naturally radiate a clean, magnetic, and positive frequency. What you put in will alter your internal chemistry, and it will leak out into your mood, your reactions, and your energy.

Energy work is like spraying a beautiful perfume. It might mask the smell for an hour, but it cannot fix a system that is toxic from the inside out. You have to change your energetic diet and actively process what you consume if you want your natural frequency to change.

The Ultimate Shift: Creating Widened Capacity

When you process information beforehand, you don’t show up to an energetic session asking it to do all the heavy lifting. You show up already unlocked.

When the session clears away that final, lingering residue, you aren't just leaving with a temporary empty void. You leave with a widened capacity—a genuinely expanded, clean space specifically primed to receive positive, aligned, and elevated energy into your life.
