Uncovered Presence
Over the last 2 years and a half, I’ve been asked constantly where I shop, and honestly, I don’t always remember — many of these clothes have been tucked away in my closet for years. I used to collect clothes out of my love for fashion, which I see as a form of personal art, but due to insecurities and my petite size, they were often stored away. I was afraid of ruining them or holding onto the hope that one day I’d fit into those pieces.
Throughout my deep and conscious healing journey, I’ve been learning to detach and let go — and clothing has played a significant role in that process. Since 2022, I’ve been cleaning out my closet whenever I feel stuffy, releasing many items that no longer serve me. I started by removing comfort clothes that kept me stuck in a space of stagnation, preventing me from wearing my more stylish pieces.
Just recently within last year and earlier this year, I even let go of items that has always been too big for me.
Honestly, I’m not someone who usually pay much attention to how I look in public, but as my confidence has grown and I’ve pushed myself to show up authentically, I’ve embraced the fashionista within. I’ve made a point to wear pieces I’d kept hidden for years — symbols of my journey, growth, and newfound confidence.
This internal shift gave me the authority I needed. "I realized that when people would ask me, 'Who let you walk out of the house looking like a million bucks?' The only high-value answer is: 'I did!' That's the only permission that matters."
It reminded me of the old wisdom: 'Sometimes you have to dress up to remind yourself that you own a business.' But I've matured that thought into a deeper truth: "Despite your circumstances, doll up anyway. It's a reminder that things will be okay. The world doesn't own you. You don't own the world. You owed it all to yourself.”
This shift in perspective is what **authenticity** truly is. I realized that my own clothing collection was a treasure trove of potential expression, but my limiting beliefs were keeping it locked down. This year has been a year of slowly integrating fashion into my daily life. Just recently, **I woke up feeling so fiery and aligned** that I instinctively reached for one of those untouched pieces, and the transformation was instantaneous.
People often ask me if I’m a model, and while I’ve only walked the runway three times, I’ve realized **I am one by nature.** The world is my runway every moment of my existence, especially at times I feel called to claim my role and go through those beautiful clothes in my closet. **Healing is the art of expression,** and claiming my style is now a fundamental part of my sovereignty. (Note: And for those curious, if you're looking for a model or creative muse, please feel free to reach out!)
This process of cleaning out my wardrobe has been incredibly freeing.
🌬️✨ It’s about more than just decluttering; it’s about reclaiming my confidence and embracing my true self. I’ve realized that how I see myself can sometimes hinder my ability to detach from old limiting beliefs, but I can choose to alter my perspective or the clothes I wear to fit my current truth. However, if you choose to make something fit be careful what you’re getting yourself into. Sometimes life isn’t about forcing things to fit; it’s about making space to receive the things that truly do.
If you’re on a similar path of growth or simply looking to refresh your space, I invite you to consider cleaning out your wardrobe too.
🌸🧹 It’s a beautiful way to start anew, boost your confidence, and celebrate your unique style.
As the seasons shift and days grow longer, it’s the perfect time to refresh not only our homes but also our closets. Just like a deep clean breathes new life into a space, cleaning out your wardrobe can do the same for your style and confidence.
Sorting through your clothes helps you identify what no longer fits or reflects who you are now, creating space for new pieces that truly resonate with your current vibe. After decluttering, consider adding fresh, vibrant items—bright colors, floral prints, lightweight fabrics—that celebrate the season and your evolving taste.
🌈👗 A tidy closet makes it easier to mix and match outfits, inspiring new looks and making dressing an enjoyable experience. And with a clearer wardrobe, you can shop more mindfully, focusing on versatile, sustainable pieces that support your growth beyond just this moment.
Cleaning out your wardrobe isn’t just about tidying up — it’s a powerful act of renewal, boosting your confidence and inviting fresh energy into your life.
🌟💖 So grab those bins, donate what no longer serves you, and get excited to unveil a wardrobe that reflects the authentic, empowered you. Let’s embrace this season of renewal together! 🌸✨
