Emotions are Different.
This message actually came through last month on February 13th. I just haven't shared it yet because it wasn't time. Last night I was at a business workshop, and we quickly were on the topic of emotions, and something was said that reminded me of this. Then on the way home from dropping my siblings off to school this morning I was told it is time.
So here it is, a message from my team. May this message find you wherever you are and when you need it.
"Knowledge and skills come hand in hand. It can be learned and shared. However, emotions are always and are already within you. They simply just need to get ignited. How they are triggered and come about is different for everyone. This is not to say emotions are bad.
Emotions are actually good. They are another set of roadmaps helping you to get to where you need to go. This means that when you embrace your emotions you are not weak. It is not meant to make you "too vulnerable". When you embrace your emotions, it is actually you processing whatever it is that is showing up for you right now.
Emotions are pathways to letting you know what it is that you need to overcome right now in order to proceed forward with what you want to do. Your emotions are not to hold you back. You are like an arrow on a bow. The pressure that pulls you back is supposed to shoot you forward, not just over one single step, but over as many steps as possible, going as far as you possibly can go.
Your emotions are tied to your past karmas, situations, and those around you from all of your existing lifetimes. It is a calculating factor that contributes to your current personality and character. Influencing down to your judgement and choices. You may not always realize what emotions exist within you until you get triggered but it is always there. Just because you don't feel it yet doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
Each time you get triggered your consciousness is being woken up. As your emotions are ignited, you as a being are being tasked to advance to becoming a better version of yourself. To unlearn what you know now so you can see things from a different perspective. Accessing knowledge and skills you would have missed if you were to stay stuck viewing things from your current lenses.
How you process your emotions and choose to do with it embody the direction of which you are headed and that is completely up to you. This is why having awareness is so important in everything we do on a daily basis.
So, before you get mad or angry at yourself for feeling a certain way, sit down with it and ask yourself, what is it that it is trying to teach you."
