Winter

What does the snow/winter season remind you of?

This cold winter weather remind me of the warmth of a family gathering.

It reminds me of the good old days.

Back to the times when our home was still warm. The warmth that wasn't measured with what we have materialistically but by who we had with us.

The quality time.

Sometimes I think back and I miss spending time with my loved ones. Playing and joking everywhere we went. A period of time where technology has no value in our daily life.

A time where we could meet up and talked to each other for hours without looking at our screens or having to think about how awkward our conversation is.

During these times it doesn't matter which season we're in, it would always be filled with warmth.

Now a days, with the speed of life, we're always on our phone or away working.

Most days I barely get to see both of my parents together. Most days I barely get to see my siblings, my families, and my friends. At family events I had already forgotten what a family reunion is.

With everything changing so fast and moving so quickly, conversations are now quite awkward and the warmth I used to enjoy coming home to doesn't exist anymore.
